Iced Matcha Latte

Hot weather calls for cold Iced Matcha to keep us hydrated and refreshed. An Iced Matcha Latte is a staple part of our diet after all! 

This Iced Matcha uses evaporated milk which has a richer taste with slight caramel notes. Evaporated milk is milk that has been heated and about 60% of the water content evaporated. It is unsweetened so simply gives the drink a richer, creamier taste. It is also different to cream which has a higher fat content and is much thicker. 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 teaspoon Ceremonial Matcha
  • 150mL warm water
  • 100mL evaporated milk
  • Lots of Ice!

How to:

  1. Whisk Matcha and warm water together with a bamboo whisk. Let this cold down.
  2. In a tall glass, add ice and evaporated milk.
  3. Pour over the matcha and stir.
  4. Enjoy and sip on a hot summers day!
