Warmer weather calls for cooler drinks. This green, fruity, summer smoothie is super simple, healthy, delicious & vegan friendly!
It is packed full of fibre and healthy fats to keep you satiated. The high levels of polyphenols found in good quality matcha are also strong antioxidants to keep your skin barrier healthy, mind & body working optimally.
Ingredients:
- 1 heaped teaspoon of Ceremonial Grade Matcha.
- 1/2 cup frozen Banana (this is about 1/2 a large banana).
- 1 cup frozen Mango (this is about 1/2 a large mango).
- 1 cup of unsweetened plant based milk (oat milk is great for creaminess or use almond milk for something lighter).
- A few frozen ice cubes (freeze some plant based milk instead of water for something a little extra).
- 1 TBSP hemp seeds.
- 1/3 cup of coconut yogurt or almond yogurt.
Method:
- If using fresh fruit: chop up your fruit and freeze
- If using frozen fruit: measure out your fruit
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender and mix.
Tip: Keep things frozen and cold to have a thicker creamier smoothie.
