Basic at its best.
Hojicha is a roasted green tea with a smooth nutty flavour that almost resembles cocoa. It has very little caffeine as it is roasted but still has the anti-inflammatory properties from the antioxidants, helps with mental clarity & stress from the l-theanine and supports youthful skin, liver detoxification and heart health. This makes it perfect if you are sensitive to caffeine, safe for pregnant women or simply after something delicious!
Ingredients:
- 1.5 tsp Hojicha Powder
- 100mL Lukewarm Water
- 250mL Oat Milk
- Ice
- 1.5 tsp Agave Syrup optional
How to:
- Whisk your Hojicha Powder and warm water together until well dissolved.
- Add your agave syrup to the base of your cup.
- Add ice.
- Add in your milk, followed by the Hojicha mix into your cup.
- Stir and Enjoy!
Note:
Oat milk works best as it is naturally creamy to complement the Hojicha flavour. You can substitute for other plant based milks if you prefer.
Agave syrup dissolves easily in cold drinks. You can use other syrups, but avoid using plain sugar as it will not mix into your drink.
