What you will need:
- Ceremonial Grade Matcha 1tsp/2scoops/2 grams
- 70-100mL warm water, about 80 degree celsius
- Matcha accessories
How to:
- Begin by warming up your bowl and bamboo whisk with warm water. This will soften the bamboo and make it easier for you to whisk.
- Dry the bowl thoroughly.
- Add in your Matcha and Water, slowly incorporate the powder and water together.
- Whisk with your wrist in a W/M zigzag motion until everything is well mixed and a generous layer of froth appears.
- Enjoy immediately :)
Matcha in the morning gives you a caffeine boost which is sustained throughout the day as it is combined with L-theanine, a protein found in green tea. I enjoy my morning matcha with a dash of rice milk but you can enjoy it however you like :)
